As you agree this film was awesome, fabulous, mind-blowing or you can say we are unable to express our happiness or satisfaction with the word how was good this movie.

The movie was directed by Mr. Karan Johar. It was his first movie as a writer and director.

The star cast was amazing most of them superstar only one was new in this industry as a Rani Mukerji.

The film was released in India and UK in 1998.

This was the first Bollywood film in UK’s top 10 Charts.

“Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” was the highest grossing Bollywood film of 1998. And became the third film to gross over ₹1 billion worldwide after “Hum Aapke Hain Koun” & ” Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”. It had a worldwide opening weekend of ₹8.06 crore and grossed ₹15.13 crore in its first week.

The mega appearances of Mr. Salman Khan, behind the story.

Karan Johar initially offered the role of Aman to another superstar (Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan …) but they refused to do. Mr. Salman Khan knows these things from the others. Unfortunately, Mr. Khan and Mr. Karan meet in one Bollywood party then Mr. Khan said to Karan he wants to do the role of Aman. Because of the good relationship between his family and promote Karan.

Tina’s role was awesome. We are talking about new actress Mrs. Rani Mukerji. She did his best, and people loved it. There was also a story behind Tina role goes to Rani.

The (Tina) role was written for Twinkle Khanna, but she refused. Then Karan went to other actresses such as AishwaryaRai, RaveenaTandon, Tabu, ShilpaShetty, UrmilaMatondkar, and KarismaKapoor, offered the role but they refused.

After these things happened then Aditya Chopra suggests Rani Mukerji name for Tina role to Karan Johar. Because he noticed her beauty and acting talent in Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat.

Did you know there was an accident during the shooting? After that, the entire film was shot in nine and half month only.

The accident was Kajo lost her memory for a few hours. How was happened?

During the shoot of one song “YehLadkaHaiDeewana,” there was a bicycle sequence and Kajol lost control of her bicycle, fell flat on her face and was knocked unconscious, also injuring her knee. After she feels conscious then she lost her memory as per the co-worker.

The entire cast member was doing his or her fabulous job, and we get some lovely name like Rahul, Anjali, Anjali Sharma, Aman, Tina and of course Anjali’s Maa and Dadi and some lovely friends meet up slag.

We cannot complete this movie without talking about music. The music was mind-blowing.

“Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” album sold record-breaking 12 million Albums at that time.

One of the Biggest Albums in the History of Bollywood at that time.

Music By Jatin- Lalit, Lyrics were written by Sameer and singers are Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Kumar Sanu, Shankar Mahadevan, and Manpreet Akhtar.

While the film was still untitled, JavedAkhtar was signed to write the lyrics, and even wrote and recorded one song.  When the movie was titled KuchKuchHotaHai”, he found the title obscene and vulgar and decided to quit the project. Later he regretted leaving the film. And he realizing that he was the only who disliked the title.

Do you know  Alka Yagnik also had the same problem with the film title song “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, but they sang the song and said she fell some odd and ask “Yeh Kaisa Gana Hai ”?  After the movie released than she realized the title song was convenient.

And she got more surprised when she got her second National Award for Best Playback singer for this title track.

The film was awarded two National Award (Best movie and Best Playback in female) and 35 plush domestic Award.

There was also an incident during the National Award Ceremony. The Ceremony is not the kind of function where one breaks into a song; she was requested to hum a line while being facilitated by the President.

All the songs of the movie were amazing. Even this year, during Navratri and Durga puja concerts around the city, this evergreen track featured prominently in the playlist due to public demand.

We can say the movie was all-time hit and say together “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”.
